hahahahaa, okay FHA is history since Friday and my post on it will come as soon as I am done collecting pictures from everyone who caught my face in their cameras!

Strangely, I felt kinda upset when FHA closed on Friday. It was like an empty feeling :’( But, it didnt stop me from falling asleep in the cab back home from Expo still. 12 straight days from work and its time the social life will come back to my arms!!

My hair is pretty curled now ! It’s cursed seriously. The ends of my hair are literally shattering and spiltting like crazy.

Okay, I am trying to be an idiot complaining and being a bimbo when I am not even pretty to begin with.

AHHHH, look out for the next post then. Don’t give up on me just YET.

If I could just kick the shoes of my feet and roam the halls barefooted, I would.

If i could be given a bicyle to ease all the walking, I would love to have one.

If I could just be given 1/2 an hour to stare blankly into space, it’d leave me with a smile.

However, that are thoughts not even near to reality because I am worn out, totally. I could just board a cab home, inform the driver of my destination and halfway through I’d just fall asleep.

That’s how tired I am now.

2 more days away from FHA08’s closing and I’ve made new friends! Haha, that is with the security people. I remember them stopping my entry on Tuesday morning when forcefully dragged myself to Hall 3’s Media Centre to report for work at 7.30am.

And now, they’d wave and smile at me when I walk past, reminding me to keep the smile on :)

Also, it was great seeing familiar faces around the Halls from time to time. Friends will pop by tapping my shoulder or calling my name. Hey guys, if you happen to be reading this, do give me a feedback on how the show went. I sure hope it went well and to your expectations.

For all the hardwork placed in since the beginning of my internship with SES till the day when FHA08 finally became not just a statement or event “that was going to happen” , I would say it was all worth the emotional times, numerous overtime nights, mad answering of visitor enquiries and taking all the stress that came by.

Because when you’re being placed with good supervisors who value their work and treat their shows with passion, I learnt and grew from it.

Jeslyn and Christine, I thank you for your patience to my mistakes at times and imparting so many values of working in my FHA days with the both of you. As much as I want the show to end so that it’d mark my “free days”, but it’s the time where I’ll have to bid goodbye and move on to a new team.

God loves me for giving me good in the midst of a storm, I am thankful :)

2nd day on site at expo and the heat is on!

Emails to clear, getting the whole where-is-where of expo into my head, coordinating with delivery men for drop offs at different halls.

No grumbles because I am really enjoying my time on site :)

It’s the moment when you see the booths being built up, visitors getting all panicky about registration, road blocks signs physically appearing – It’s time where we are going to see our hardwork paying off finally!

I am certain now that it WILL definitely be a good show, exhibitors exhibiting quality and hot new stuff for the food&hospitality industry.

Woo hoo! It’s time for my dept to set off for Singapore Expo tomorrow :) Which means, FHA is finally here and all my pre administration work has been completed W.E.F from today onwards for this show. (ehh, post show admin work is the post show thing)

Unfortunately Jeslyn, Noah and I are down with Fever or Flu or Lost of voice or mad coughing.

It’s was sweet of my supervisor to actually get me Vit C Redoxon to be dumped into the water i drink daily. Eww, it’s kinda out of my usual routine to consume any Vitamins but gonna hang in there till the show is over!

So, do feedback and let me know how was FHA08 :) Looking forward to see the nice exhibitors who have corresponded over the phone with me and the nice visitors too!

Times are better when you know nice people exists in the Majority and not the Minority :)

Ever since the whole “incident” that has happened, i’ve tried very hard to curb my evil temper and choose to forgive and not look at all the lousier part of people.

I’ve tried, and i could have succeeded. Could have.

(I am sorry, I am sucha sinner for bitching right at this moment)

It’s not easy handling a whooping 20,000 + people registration for my whole team has to go through each application one by one. The ones who’re not approved, which is a very significant number will start calling like hotcakes when they do not get the greenlight, demanding us to explain why.

1 person = time.

many people=more time.

Because we do not remember all the individual names, hence we have to pull out this records 1 by 1. That’s a lot of time wasted, and work is not done.

For that, of course no complains but we have to make up for the time loss by working overtime. Even working overtime doesn’t make up for a lot of things hence eventually i willingly dedicate my weekends to work. My supervsiors share the workload out and without complains again, we do work on weekends just with the sincere and earnest wish that people get confirmations and are at ease asap.

That has been going since a long time ago but we keep quiet and just work,work, work. Because it’s nothing much i guess. We get paid to work, we develop a love for work hence sacrfices are made willingly.

Then SHE comes into the picture.

All she does is cause inconveniences. How much trouble each of us has to go through us because of her absence.

It’s okay, because you are sick.

But do you have to be sick and then annoying at the same time? All your bullshit, you’ve wasted all our bloody time.

And then you doubt my team’s efficiency? I totally hate you, I’ve lost all the inch of respects towards you because while we were slogging our guts out, you probably were sitting comfortably somewhere enjoying your weekends.

It’s not being jealous, i am not contradicting here as well.

If you don’t want to help, shut up. I’ll appreciate the serenity and silence at least.

SIGHHHHHHH.

It’s true when people say ” When one door of happiness closes, another opens” I am not trying to look back at the closed door, but urging myself to step into the opened one for me.

Life is very much falling into place now, although it can be pretty plagued with problems from time to time but there’s always a way out of problems irregardless of what happens.

If I were to blame for everything that happens, it’ll be uncountable and I’ll be submerged in that vicous cycle for eternity.

Do my best, spend time wisely, tidy my feelings, be confident, grow, mature and learn.

On a better note, work for FHA is 80% done. Just left with the little misc stuff and my team will be ready for the battle from Friday onwards!

The trip out with the 2B peeps will be settled soon and the progress of my project vroom is going very well too :)

Nothing much to complain about because god is embracing all my insufficiencies and protecting me with heapes of blessings.

It’s weird why at this point of time I am actually blogging.

Because most of the deadlines for work is today and my table is in it’s BIGGEST state of mess ever since I’ve started work at SES.

But, i can’t help and need to share with all of you this – This email that made my day :)

I used to hate my desk in the office.

The location of it is really bad. (okay, not as bad as glenn’s), but bad enough.

When you do work in an office, there’s bound to be heapes of paperwork everywhere. I cleared my forms – which takes up 70% of paperwork during the course of my internship. But my table is once again swarmed with paper due to badge printing names that have to be completed within this 2 weeks.

My supervisors pathetically leave paper with instructions for work to be completed or tasks to be followed up on my keyboard.

Yes, on my keyboard. because I can hardly see anymore visible space for an A4 paper. My arms are resting on paper (work to be done). That’s how bad it is.

Wanted to show the actual pic of my desk but too bad, can’t upload any pics till this date.

Well, the bottomline is. I think i’ve learnt to be neater (Or at least I think so)

Because.. I am forced to clean up my desk from time to time due to the lack of space.

If you know me, as in know me more as a person, you’ll know that I AM BLOOOOOOODY MESSY.

I don’t aspire to be a housewife because I can’t pack for nuts. My bed is finally cleared of clothes for now, my cupboard bursting with clothes “flowing” out from everywhere.

Sometimes i really wonder and tell myself “Ai Yo, how come you are sooooo messy”

It’s me, serious.

Okay, then I understood this point! Maybe i should be forced to have no more space, then I’d start packing my stuff. all my stuff.

I should just live on a mushroom.

My office phone has been ringing like Hotcakes since 9am this morning.

I reckon it is due to the expected closure of pre registration of FHA08, happening on the 14th of Apr that’s why everyone became kancheong spider ringing up to ask for their confirmation email.

Gawd, I have to reconsider when I have to pee!

If their calls don’t get through, they’ll leave messages and flood my voicemail box like crazy. To make things worst, there are 35 outstanding emails in my inbox, also enquring for prereg confirmation.

Hello? Is FHA so exciting that all of you must come.
